All our fabulous wines are all now available for sale online, our new online shop is up and running and we're taking orders but we're still happy to take orders via email or phone if you'd prefer.

Well what happened to our gorgeous spring weather? It has been slightly damp down here for the last few weeks. The buds are however looking marvellous and we've been working at a furious pace to get ourselves ready for visitors, but there has just been so much to do that we're running a bit behind schedule. We are in the middle of renovating our winery and making it much more accomodating for all of you who would like to come and visit us, keep an eye on our facebook page as we update it with pictures of our progress. We'll also let everyone know as soon as we're ready for visitors. 

 

We're very excited about the changes we're making down here at the vineyard and we cannot wait to share it all with you, so please do keep in touch with us as we work to get ourselves ready for you.

Terlingham Vineyard

Terlingham Vineyard and Winery, situated on the English Heritage listed Terlingham Manor Farm, is England's smallest commercial vineyard with its own onsite winery. The vineyard is nestled on gentle south facing slopes of south east Kent, near the historic village of Hawkinge. It is an award winning vineyard with two years of consecutive awards from the English and Welsh Wine Awards. 

 

Terlingham Vineyard and Winery produces a range of sparkling and still wines. We aim to produce wines that reflect the characteristics of each individual harvest, allowing nature to influence the subtle differences between vintages.

 

The chalky soil, the warm south facing slopes and the gentle sea breezes are all part of the terroir and allow us to create wonderful, delicate wines. All aspects of the wine making process are carried out in a traditional way, from hand picking the grapes to riddling the sparkling wines in traditional pupitres and disgorging by hand.

 

 We invite you to come and visit us, taste our wines and discover a new found appreciation for all the delights of fine English wines.

Terlingham Vineyard produces only a small selection of wines, we like to focus on quality and taste. Because each vintage is produced by hand using traditional methods and oodles of heart, each vintage has a unique taste and character.

 

Our chalky soil and gentle climate (which we share with the Champagne region in France) are essential ingredients for the creation of truly fine still and sparkling wines.
